Well, although it was great to get home after 11 days on the road, it seems Linda and I both brought home a pesky little bug that slowed us down a bit (but not much). So, after taking just a short morning off to organize our households and get a little much-needed rest, it was back to business as usual.
It didn't take us long to realize that our fliers for the Springfield Live! event weren't mailed to a few key promoters. So we started with a mad dash to figure out who didn't receive the fliers and bundling them up to go to the P.O. for overnight mail.
We had decided before we left that Linda would handle all the upcoming events and I would work through the Disney details. I'm quite proud of Linda that she even filled out the flow chart for the Springfield Live! schedule, as this has always been something I have taken care of.
The Disney conference is coming along great! We have booked reservations for the Saturday night meal at Downtown Disney at three locations so far: T-Rex, Wolfgang Puck and Paradiso 37 (I am so going here to have the enchilada dish again:). Sign- ups for the conference are starting to come in and we will be turning in the room reservation list on Monday in order to ensure the reduced rate. We've been a little nervous about how all this is going to shake out since people can sign up and request a roommate. The nametags and programs are being ordered this week, so we just have a few more items to cover.
On another note.... did we announce that I am going to be a grandma for the first time? My son and daughter-in-law are expecting at the end of the summer:)
